I decided to have my xbox repaired for a few reasons. DRM issues being the most major one. Having a huge paperweight is anoter. I got the box after work on Friday, along with a copy of PGR3. They probably felt bad since I knew that if i had 3 red lights instead of just 1 they would have done all the repairs for free. So I got a discount on the repair and a copy of PGR 3.

 

 

Now that I have the Coffin I've got to empty it out, pack my xbox and seal it up.

 

 

I'm hoping to get a 360 that works unlike some of the horror stories i've read. Maybe if i'm lucky i'll get one with HDMI. So here's a picture of what your xbox may look like after doing something as crazy as PLAYING VIDEO GAMES ON IT.

 

 

I'll keep the blog updated with my process. I know that everyone's experience with repair centers is different, but it helps to have as many of them documented as possible. I also just thought of something, UPS must be getting rich off of all the shipments Microsoft is sending through them. I'm headed to the UPS store to drop off my package.
